They promise to make you a lot of money by helping out.

The Web has made passing on chain letters easier than ever. But now, by going through email, there are new dangers to be aware of. You could unknowingly pass on personal information and at the very least your email address. Not to mention, they use up valuable disk space and bandwidth.

Health or Medication Products
These emails promise magical results by using their product like incredible weight loss, penis enlargement, or hair growth. Also common ads are for discounted medications such as Cialis or Viagra.

Free Stuff or Free Giveaways
They say you get something for free but too often you pay for it in ways other than cash. These spammers could be looking for email addresses to sell to others or first make you jump through hoops like subscribing to a newsletter or magazine first in order to get the free gift. That is, if they will give you the promised gift at all.

Financial Services For Loans and Credit Repair
Again, there is the promise for amazing results. Regardless of what your credit situation, they promise they can get you back in the black. This is probably one of the worst types of spam because not only could your personal information be compromised but your finances as well.
